Mad About You, Paul Reiser. An unusually lackluster 'Must See' Thursday. The Office and 30 Rock; these two shows were not as good as they typically are.
My theory: this is all to make Paul Reiser's new show look better in comparison. They are trying to pull a 'Step by Step': maybe no one will notice how crappy this show is, if we put it between two better shows. It will just slide under the radar for nine seasons.
I, for one, am not going to take this lying down. What are these TV executives thinking?
'Mad About You was soooo good. I don't know how we did it, but we aired a show more boring than Wings. So let's talk to Paul Reiser, and see if he wants to make another sitcom.'
My actual critisism of the show:
An unequivocally, bland and forgettable, half-hour of TV. So bad, it's almost criminal.
And no, you aren't getting those 30 minutes back...ever.
(I made a diagram, to illustrate my point more effectively.)
